Trevor E. Charlston, Director, Client Services

Trevor Charlston plays a direct role in crafting the firm’s investment thesis while simultaneously growing relationships with top-tier RIAs, hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices across the country. Trevor’s expertise combines tax-efficient investments with comprehensive financial planning solutions, thus providing the necessary foundations for long-term wealth accumulation and financial security.

Trevor’s career in financial services began in 2010 as an A&D Fixed Income Analyst at Delaware Investments. He then joined the Royal Bank of Scotland as one of the youngest fixed-income traders in the bank’s history, managing a $2B trading book consisting of short-term U.S. interest rate products. Trevor then transitioned into the sales side of the business, joining the Structured Products Sales Group, focusing on Asset-Backed Securities, Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Collateralized Loan Obligations. Shortly thereafter, Trevor and his partner were hired by Nomura Securities International, Inc. to build out a Structured Products Sales office in Southern California. During his time there, Trevor developed strong relationships with expert traders and world renown portfolio managers.

Trevor graduated cum laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Concentration in Finance. Despite undergoing open-heart surgery while in high school to replace a leaking aortic valve (read the story in the Los Angeles Times), Trevor was able to win back-to-back, undefeated Ivy League Football Championships as a place kicker on Penn’s football team.

As a Los Angeles native, Trevor attended Beverly Hills High School and continues to stay directly involved with the community. In his free time, you can often find Trevor digging into the day’s news or reading the latest piece of market commentary. Trevor also loves spending time with his fiancé, Nicole, and their golden-doodle, Norman.

Trevor maintains the FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, as well as Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.
